Lists of things TO DO

I'm having one of those days. I have so much to do that I can't find any motivation to buckle down and do any of it!

It should be a pleasure, but it all feels like a chore. I'm bored with all my fabric and annoyed that my computer skills don't match my 'visions'.

I am spending the rest of today reading and RE-reading the EQ7 book and hopefully I will come through it feeling more positive about finishing some UFO's and commiting some sketches into design.

  1. Esther, hugs to you girl. Working from home can be claustrophobic some times. Get out for an hour or two, maybe the library or shopping. You will feel so much better. In the mean time, great big hugs to you!

  2. A feeling all too common :) There is so much one would like to try and experiment, and so few hours in a day... There are days when I wish I didn't have to bother with my "regular" job to be able to give all my time to quilting and patchwork.

  3. Sorry, hope it gets better for you!!

  4. It's such a relief to know that a talented designer and creator such as you, has those kinds of days. Whew! I thought it was just uninspired people like me who had them. Thanks for making ME feel better. Now how can I help you?!

  5. Ah, one of THOSE days! I'm sure it will pass soon Esther. Try doing something silly in your sketchbook! My altered books always seem to unlock me because they're so quick and have to be done without a thought of an end product.

  6. Oh, I think we all have days like this! Hang in there!

  7. Playing with EQ always gets me going. I end up with umpteen new quilt ideas but force myself to pinbaste another UFO and put it on a machine first! That has helped me machine quilt a UFO per month all this year! But I have started twice that many new projects, so am I winning?

  8. I have many of "those" days too! Luckily, they always pass. lol Good luck.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I love hearing what you think.
